Stydra vs TurboLearn AI
We make one of these two, so read this with that in mind. What follows is still the comparison we'd want to read: TurboLearn is a good product and most of what it does, Stydra does too. The honest question isn't which one has more features — it's whether you want a tool that turns your notes into study material, or one that also forces you to prove you've learned it.
What both tools do
If you only need the following, either tool will serve you — pick on price and on which interface you prefer.

Where Stydra is actually different
These are the parts TurboLearn doesn't advertise. They all come from the same idea: generating material is the easy half, and testing yourself against it is the half that moves a grade.
It makes you answer from memory, then grades you
Recall Mode hides the card and asks you to type the answer in your own words. The AI compares what you wrote to the real answer and tells you which parts you actually had. Flipping a card and thinking “yeah, I knew that” is the single most common way students revise for hours and still blank in the exam.
It tells you why your wrong answer was wrong
Miss a quiz question and you get an explanation of the specific misconception, written from your own material — not a restatement of the correct option.
A session made only of your weak spots
Every rating you give feeds a weak-spots pool. One tap builds a session out of nothing but the cards you keep fumbling, instead of another pass over the whole deck.
A photo solver that hints before it solves
Photograph a problem and you get a nudge in the right direction first. The full worked solution is one tap away when you want it — but you get the chance to solve it yourself, which is the part that has to happen before the exam.
A live voice tutor
Talk out loud with a tutor that has your pack in front of it. Explaining a topic in speech is how you find the holes in it — silently re-reading never surfaces them.
A study plan built from your exam dates

Is Stydra free?
There is a free plan, and it isn't a trial — it doesn't expire. It covers three study packs a month, unlimited flashcard review, quizzes with explanations of your wrong answers, Recall Mode grading, five photo-solver questions a month, and the social side in full: shared packs, study groups, friends and the XP leaderboard. The AI tutor — typed or spoken — and deep-dive articles are on Pro; the audio recap of your notes is on Max. The demo needs no account at all.
Can I move my TurboLearn notes into Stydra?
Not directly — there's no importer between the two. What you do instead is re-upload the source material: the PDF, slide deck, lecture recording or notes you made the original from. That takes a couple of minutes per subject and gives you a cleaner pack than a converted one would.
What does Stydra do that TurboLearn doesn't?
The short version: Stydra tests you rather than only producing material. Recall Mode makes you type the answer from memory and grades what you wrote, wrong quiz answers come back with an explanation of the specific misconception, a weak-spots pool builds sessions from just the cards you keep missing, the photo solver hints before it solves, and a study plan works backwards from your exam date.

Which one should I actually pick?
If your problem is that turning lectures into usable notes takes you too long, both tools solve it and you should pick on price and interface. If your problem is that you revise for hours and still blank in the exam, that's a testing problem rather than a materials problem, and it's the one Stydra is built around.
