Give it your material
Paste notes, upload a PDF, a slide deck or a Word document, photograph up to five pages of handwriting, paste a YouTube lecture link, or record a lecture as it happens. Whatever you already have counts as input — you don't have to tidy it first.

The deck gets written in front of you
Cards stream in as they're generated. Each one tests a single idea, and the questions lean towards why and how rather than pure definition-matching, because those are the ones an exam asks. Edit or delete anything you don't like.

Study it in a way that shows what you don't know
Flip through it, or use Recall Mode: the card stays hidden, you type the answer in your own words, and it tells you which parts you actually had. Everything you rate feeds a weak-spots pool you can build a session out of later.

A deck you flip through is a deck you can fool

Reading a question, glancing at the answer and thinking "yes, I knew that" is the most common way to revise for hours and still blank in the exam — recognising an answer is a much weaker thing than producing one, and flipping a card can't tell the difference. That's why Stydra makes you write the answer down before it shows you anything, and grades what you wrote against what was actually being asked. It's less comfortable, and it's the part that moves a grade.

Is it actually free?

The demo takes no account and no credit card — paste something and you get a pack. A free account adds saving, spaced repetition, quizzes and sharing, with three packs a month. Paid plans lift the cap; nothing is charged unless you choose one.

What can I make flashcards from?

Pasted notes, PDFs, PowerPoint and Word files, photos of handwritten pages, YouTube lectures, and lectures you record in the app.

Are the cards any good?

Judge that on your own material rather than on this sentence — that's what the demo is for. They're written to test one idea each and to spread over the whole source, and everything is editable if a wording is off.

Can I share a deck with friends?

Yes, on the free plan. A share link opens the pack for anyone you send it to, without them needing an account.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser and can be installed to your home screen.
